E-Bikes Can Help Couples to Keep Cycling Together

Did you know that e-bikes can make it possible for couples to cycle together – sometimes for the first time ever? There are many couples who would love to go for a bike ride together, but their cycling abilities are so different that it just doesn’t work. It’s much more enjoyable for two people to ride together at a shared pace, this is where the electric bike comes in.

You can carry your heavy shopping or even bring a friend with you!

Just attach a basket to the end of your bike to use that high powered motor at its full potential! Don’t forget the put seat belts in the front for a speedy and safe delivery.

You won’t have to worry about leaving anyone behind again. Jokes aside this is great for picnics, water bottles or day backpacks that you might have with you at the time.

Get Home Before Anyone Else!

No way is anyone going to beat you home on their bikes. They will have to either take a motorized vehicle home or arrive back covered in sweat about 20-30 minutes after you have put your feet up in front of the TV.

Even though you’re effectively a motorised vehicle, you don’t need a licence yet and you’re still allowed to use the cycling lanes. (speeding sincerely not recommended)

Get to places you’ve never gone before!

Because you can lean on that motor a long-haul journey won’t look quite so daunting either. Explore the outdoors, you will suddenly be able to ride further and longer than you have ever done before. There are no more parks or hills that you won’t reach the end of! And you might even be able to stop for a coffee somewhere without dripping in sweat!

It’s Good For You!

Probably the most important reason here and it’s more likely to get you outside! Yes you, get off your lazy butt and go outside, have a little adventure, and explore the horizon over your neighbour’s lawn.

Essentially electric bikes just offer a fun and easy way to go outside, good for your health and with the bonus of pedal assist its a great exercise, not too high tech yet and still pretty affordable!

According to a recent report by the Transport Research Laboratory, regular bikes make it out of the shed fewer than 25 times a year, with 46% being used just once or twice a week.

In comparison, 30% of people with electric bikes use them ONCE A DAY, while a whopping 81% ride them at least once a week! Which means that e-bike users are twice as likely as regular riders to get out there and ride.

Because you’re riding more, you’ll be pedalling more – even if that electric motor is helping you out on occasion.

Which is good news for your heart, your lungs and overall fitness levels and of course there are endless scientific studies have proven the link between regular exercise and reduced stress levels but everybody already knows that :)

We wish you the best and a Happy New Year!
