The L2 is a rugged folding electric scooter from HIMO. With a wide, long deck and tall handlebars, it can comfortably accomodate riders up to 100kg.

A 350w front-hub motor powers the scooter up to its top speed of 15.5mph (25km) in a matter of seconds. Three switchable drive modes of eco, standard and sport provide speed limits (of 9.3, 12.4 and 15.5mph respectively) allow riders fine control and assist in maximising range. 420W of peak power allows the L2 to tackle gradients up to 20% and make it suitable for riders up to 100kg.

Fitted with a 374Wh (10.4Ah) capacity battery, the L2 can travel up to 21.7 miles (35km). Charging takes around 6 hours with the included 42V 2Amp fast charger.

UNRIVALED RIDE COMFORT

The L2’s 205mm deck is 25% wider than many scooters on the market. It allows riders to spread out assisting with balance, or ride with their feet alongside each other, reducing fatigue on longer rides. The longer wheelbase (880mm over the market average of 760mm) also helps with stability at speed.

At 62mm wide and 10-inches in diameter, the large-volume pneumatic tyres oer fantastic ride comfort, smoothing rough terrain and damping the effects of potholes.

SAFE AND SECURE

HIMO have prioritised rider safety with a soft rubber deck cover and handlebar grips keeping riders secure. A mechanical rear disc brake is paired with front hub-motor braking, with the option to just use the electronic brake by applying only the right-hand brake lever. The wide pneumatic tyres oer great grip in wet conditions and with the fitted mudguards, the scooter can be ridden year-round.

The simple-to-use folding release catch incorporates a locking safety mechanism to ensure the latch cannot be accidentally released. With a license plate mount, front, rear and side reflectors and bright LED headlights & taillights, the L2 meets the PLEV EN17128 standard.
